Did you book an elective c/s and go into labour before hand?

I am just curious how many of you have booked an elective c/s and gone into labour early??

I am booked in early next week for medical reasons and think I am having some early labour symptoms...I'm not sure bulbs is going to gold out that long!!

i did! booked in for a c-section on the 23rd december with DS2 it was a late decision and i was actually due on the 26th but because i went 12 days over with DS1 i didnt think it would be an issue. woke up at 7am on the 17th december in labour, despite all midwives and obs trying hard to get me into surgery quickly bub was born virginally at 9.26am. it was possibly the best thing that ever happened! i didnt sustain nearly as much damage as i did the first time (which was the initial reason for the caesar) and i was able to go home that afternoon

    Yep, me.

DS was booked for bang on 40 weeks on 5th March. Waters broke on 25th Feb. No labour followed (which saved his life but that's a whole 'nother thread lol).

Nope, but I was meant to be the 2nd c-section of the day and when I got there they told me I was first because the girl before me delivered the night before!

Not me, but a gf. She was booked in for a c-sect and her waters broke a few days prior.
