Well.......we tried at 2 weeks - and it was aweful!

So, *embaressed to say* it was 8 mths before I could summon up the courage!!!!

But that was with my first c/s......with the next 2, it was much sooner.

Just take it easy, and relax - when you are ready, you will know.

    xx

Did it at 4 months, didn't enjoy it at all - felt very uncomfortable.

Retried at 8 months (acbryett, no need to be embarassed) and it's been fine since. TBH, it wasn't the c/s that was the problem, it was the fact that we're both so exhausted......

We waited about 10 weeks and it was well and truly fine by then.
I had a pretty good recovery after my c/section though - we mainly waited that long because I was so bl**dy tired and stressed out with a newborn and a toddler....

Ten days with Alex (and waited that long because I was still in hospital... but did have thoughts about DTD earlier.)

Seventeen days with Ned, although I got thrush and was on a doctor's orders DTD ban for eight days. Probably would have been earlier otherwise.
