But you've only had 2 previous sections yes? So it would be a VBA2C - same as what I had

And no labours are the same, just as no children are exactly the same - so if its something you want to go for (in your heart) then do it

I mean yes, they don't care how they are born (and I truly believe that) but it doesn't mean that YOU don't care

All the best with whatever you decide

I know exactly what you mean- i had an emergency csection for angel DD, then DS i was booked in and same as you he was head down, all gearing up for the natural approach- i even went into labour- was offered a VBAC (Which i said thanks but no thanks- get him out now please) and in some ways i felt crap for refusing, but in other ways after losing a baby i would never have forgiven myself if anything went slightly wrong... again with DD she was head down rearingg to go- again started contracting before csection booking, (no offer of vbac this time though- different hospital) and still went with the csection.

So yeah i understand abit how you feel- it seems unfair and a bit of a waste for bubs to go through all the work of being in the right position, doing everything its supposed to do for what seems like nothing as they are going to get pulled out the "sunroof" as one funny BB lady puts it.

But at the same time- its all good for them- every bit of preparation they do in there DOES benifit them which ever way they exit. Its all good for them!!!!

And yes do repeat the mantra- they dont care how they were born, they're just glad they're here!! And to be honest from experience i can even change it to Idont care how they got here, im just glad they are here- but each to their own- and it is completely possible for you to decide that if bubs is looking like she is doing her bit and that labour is possible- then definately DO ask your care people what the chances are of that happening for you!!!

Good luck and all the best!!

talk to your obgyn about your options, if you want to give it a go, then that's brilliant, if not, that's great too, only you can make these decisions for your body.
as long as you get your precious baby at the end, who cares how she comes out!
