I'm not entirely sure "safewise" but after my c/s back in aug 08 i got told to give my body a break of at least 12 months because it does take sometime for all the muscle and everything to heal

People do it but the Gyno's I work with strongly advise waiting 6months after your first and second C/S before ttc again. The more c/s you have the longer they advise women to wait before trying again. I guess its to aid healing the extra time.

Your scar is fully healed 3 months after birth. It doesn't get stronger any time past that - all the healing its ever going to do is in that time. My sister got pregnant 3 months after a csection and she was fine.

(btw, this info was told to me by an OB, and I read it in a birth book -so it must be true.. hehe)

I have a friend who's last 2 children are 10 months apart. Both were c-sections.

I was told at my 6 week check up that anytime my body was able to make a baby (i.e. ovulating) then it was fine to get pg again. There was no waiting period. I had lots of complications with my c-section too so I was expecting to be told I had to wait a while.

between DS1 and DS2 there's 18 months in age and my scare tore internally due to pressure...it was black and bruised for 12 months

    YET

I had a tubual reversal, fell pg a month later, had DD 11 month later and went on to have DS3 16 motnhs after that and my scar is all good.

If your worried just get one of those belts to take the pressure off

ETA - sorry all 4 of my kids were c/s births incase anyone wondered
