How early was your c/section?

Melo was born at 36 weeks, but that was due to the placenta praevia... otherwise OB said he would have booked us in with about 10 days to go too

I'm booked in for 38+5. I wanted to wait till 39, but that was the closest day they could get me in.

DS was booked in for 40weeks on the dot. I would have waited that long for little Miss too but they didn't want her to get too big so she was 38+1 on my dates.

Buggar I was hoping you'd get a 13th date cos special people are born on that date, but maybe that's a bit too late.

Interesting that they didn't want her to get too big Kim, because this little man measured 40 weeks on Wednesday when I was 36+4.

As I said, not fussed, but I do find it quite interesting the differences depending on the year of the birth.

Because of my rupture and because DS was 4 and a bit kgs and 4kgs is the mark of danger they have found after a rupture.

Dd2 was an emergency csec at 39+6
The twins were booked in for 35+4 due to complications but arrived via emergency csec at 35+2

booked in 2 days prior to my due date, which is one day prior to MY birthday! I've got a large baby also (sizing scan just over a week ago at 36w 4d already had bubs measuring around the 8lbs mark give or take 500 g.... that's what the report said!), and I've also got an "unstable lie" (there's something I'd never heard of before last week!). So yeah. I was a bit shocked to find they were leaving it so late! (last "elective' c was done at 39 weeks almost to the day, that was 4 years ago at the same public hospital)
