    How many?

I'm up for my fourth c - section this year (not by choice, I would love a natural birth). I'd love to hear from others who have had multiple c- sections and what your experiences have been - recovery, obstetricians attitudes etc.

I haven't had a c-section myself but my DDs godmother had 3 caesarians and was 100% happy with all of them, had no pain during her recovery etc. I imagine how you fare would depend on your previous experiences.

I've only had 2 and both were perfect (well as good as they could have been iykwim) I know there are a couple of ladies on here who have had 4 i will see if they can pop in and give you some comforting words

My sister has had 4 - her recoveries have all been pretty normal - and she said they get better the more you have. She was horribly bruised with the last one though - I've never seen anything like it.

    I had 2.

first after a long labour but recovered great.

the 2nd was planned but ended up being an emergancy one anyway. and my recovery was awsome. sect at 7am up and shower by lunch. the twins are almost 8 months and the scare is almost gone.

I got a taste of labour and NO way would i ever have a nat birth. I loved both my c/sects, we all chatted thru the whole thing and for DS1 i held him while the stitched me up. Ds2&3 were rushed to NICU so didn't get contact for a fair while but the actual c/sect was good.

Just had my first C-section last week after having a Vaginal birth with the first baby. Even though it was an emergency C-section healing has been great. Only a bit of discomfort compared to the longer recovery with the *natural* delivery.

    The scar is minimal too!

    How many cs is ok?

    Hi All

I had my first cs on 30 December was an emergency, I had no labour but wished that I did. I'd also had abdominal surgery twice before so had an idea of what I was in for.

What I'd like to know is .... Is there a limit to the amount of cs you can have?

My friend has already had 2 CS, and her doctor said she could have 5!
