Just so you know, I've had 2 c-sections, and am preggers with number 3. At no time have I been told that this will have to be the last, nor that I can't have any more. It all depends on the individual person, how the caeser was done and by who, and how well you heal. The first of mine was emergency, second elective, and I recovered pretty well from both. Only 15 months between them. Hope this helps.
I have read the risks and stuff... like higher risk of ectopic pregnancy, miscarraige, placenta previa, baby having asthma later in childhood/adult life... (these are some that I remember reading recently... I am trying to research so i can make an informed decision!)
mind you, i also know many ppl who have had more than 3 caesers with children who are perfect little beauties. Also, depending on the obstetrician, some may even allow you to try for a vbac after 2 c-sections. I supposedly have to play the "odds" game at the moment, only about 30% of the obs at my hospital allow it. We'll have to wait and see closer to the due date I guess.
