Have absolutely no idea about the pad-changing. I had my c at about 6pm and had a shower about 24 hours later. It was under my request (on advice from my physio and my ob) to stay in bed for 24 hours as I had severe pelvic instability, otherwise I would have been up and at em the next morning.

My midwives were lovely and I gave my second born my favourite middie's name as her middle name.
