Did any of you have music playing during the delivery? My Ob mentioned to me that I can choose what music I want. I had never really thought about it.
I don't know if that is weird or what but not really sure I would want music, except to maybe cover up the sounds of the op.
So, did you have music? What did you have?
My ob mentioned whale music as the top ten... Not for me was thinking my Thai music with monks chanting was my reply. The look on my ob's face was priceless. Well, that would be different he said... Ha. I was kidding. ; )
I had an emergency c-section. No music (didn't even put on the CDs I had during the labour part). I just didn't care by that point - I just wanted to hold my little one safely in my arms.
Thanks Surprised. I was told the same by my ob.. Emergency would not really have time but with elective they have it here, so thought maybe I should. Do not want to hear the noises that I keep hearing about... but then again was told by an absolute dh. xx
I had an emergency c-section with DD, the obs put on a sneaky sound system album and the song 'i love it when i hold you in my arms' was playing as she was born. Not sure if it was a co-incidence or not?? It definitely made for a much more positive and relaxed atmosphere! I used to joke when pregnant that i want to play diana ross- 'I'm coming out'. LOL.
I would do it, pick something that makes you feel relaxed, its a pretty anxious time!
I didn't have any with DS, but my OB for my second one had a mixture of Pink and Fergie playing. It made for a nice, relaxing c-section, much better than listening to all the machines beeping.
