I had dh and the anesthetist talking to me so the were able to distract me for the most part, and I was holding dd when they sewed me up.

Hun, I was totally freaking out before I had my c/s with DS, but it was such a breeze that I was so relieved. I had everyone cracking jokes in there so I wasn't thinking about it. Is was so quick, before I knew DS was out. A while ago, in order to have a baby, they had to remove a 14 cm fibroid from my uterus. It was sort of like a c/s but I was knocked out so I didn't worry. This time I knew I was gonna be awake, and man, was I freaking out for months beforehand!

GL hun, it's not that bad.

Yep, 2nd time round I noticed it more than the first even though I had people talking to me trying to distract me. I felt so sick.

TBH the sensations were minimal, I had a really good anaesthetic and was pretty relieved that I couldn't feel much. Anyway, the tugging mostly happens right before your bubba is about to come out, so keep your eye on the prize!

nah, didn't worry me at all. But I took my specially-selected iPod caesarean mix in with me so I was listening to the music and/or telling my ob why I'd picked what song. Good distraction.

It scared me also and I got so nauseaus but they gave me a little something in my drip for that. I just focused on the light above me ( I could semi see what was going on) and awaited the sound
