I may not be 100% on this but i have heard women that can go in for an operation to do a new, single scare, so they can have more kids (this is done regularly with women that have already had 4c/s)..... I guess all i am saying is that make sure you do your research if you havent already!
Thank god your baby was OK too! NOt many people have a rupure and take a baby home....
Milly - Thanks for that advice, I will definitely look into it. It gives me some hope! I rang my hospital this morning to see if I can have an appointment with one of the drs there for a 2nd opinion. Because the hospital is a public hospital I have to get a referral from my GP so I will be getting that in the next few wks.
Thanks so much for your replies.. I will have to discuss it further with an OB again.. I was just confused as I had 2 different answers from 2 different OBs so wanted to know if anyone had experienced it.. I know I definately can't have a VBAC which doesn't bother me, but as I went in to premature labour last time I guess I have a risk of it happening again and could be in a similar position to Leigh26.. I couldn't bear to lose another baby but 2yrs is a long time to wait!! I waited so long to concieve my beautiful boys!! At least I still have to the end of the year to research as my bubs were born in Nov so even if I waited til early next year minimum then I would have had at least 12 months.. Then on top of that I am not sure how long I will take to fall PG again it could take it to the 2yr mark.. Anyway thanks again for your replies..
Fingers crossed it doesnt take you too long to fall pregnant. It took me 23 months to fall with DD2 and I had a miscarriage in between. I'd be anxious to start trying straight away too. Good luck!!!
