    What can help

I had a c section 5.5 weeks ago and i keep getting infections. first i got an infection in my wound then one in my mouth from a bloody little piece of muesli and noe all my cuts and sores even down to pimples are really red inflamed and sore. I have just started inner health plus and multi vitamins but is there anything else i should try or take?

My wound is still sore in places aswell and in a certian place aches all the time, will be booking into see the dr this week so hoping everything is ok.

I think the inner health and vitamins are a good start. I am not an expert but if everything seems to be infected that I would strongly urge you to go to the doctors as soon as possible cause it could be a sign of a bigger infection.

it sounds like you might have a underlying infection huni..they should take swabs and find out what infection it is. huge hugs hun xox

I agree with the above comments and still aching and being sore 5.5 weeks after a c/s is perfectly normal it hurt me to pick up my older daughter 3 at the time until about 3 months after and even know 18 months later i still have twinges and if the scars knocked its a little tender

I got terrible infections in both my scars, the second time around though I put a little tea tree oil in the bath and soaked in there for a while, and VOILA! No more scar infection. (I went on to have a vba2c ... and that proved to be great for avoiding infections )

Definitely take the probiotics, also look into some good quality fish oil, vit c, and vit e. My surgery stuffed up my skin good and proper, the vbac fixed it, which leads me to believe that surgery messed with my hormones, so perhaps you need something for maintaining hormone levels?
