    My 5 year old sits in the back of a 7 seater vehicle using a cushion booster. The seats back there are 3/4 size so he is at the correct level for the lap-sash belt to fit.

    Here in NZ they are only required to be in a seat until they are 5, although the govt has announced plans to increase that age to 7.

    Not sure what car Rouge has but pretty sure the new Volvos have built in boosters! Great idea!!

    that's good to know Art.
    later when Im at my comp I will see if I can post a link to the H harness here. they secure to the seat. so the child can sit in the front if need be.
    Id be interested to send 1 for safety testing.

    No way in heck those would be compliant with Australian Standards BD. If they still need a 5 point harness, they still need an approved seat to go with it.
