car insurance for off-road

Does anyone know an insurance company that covers 4WD's for off-road/beach use?

TIO does...but you have to live in the Territory :P

Not sure but we've recently had this problem come up as some mates are transferring their insurance over from NSW insurance and they were having dramas with any company outside the Territory. We're going there this arvie, so I'll ask them what they found out for you.

Maybe you could contact a 4WD club in the area you are in, they are sure to be very knowledgeable about this topic.

Shannon's have covered dh's for all his mod's to the car and he is fully covered off road anywhere in Australia.

I was trying to reply to your pm before, but i only had my phone to reply, and for some reason I couldn't. Well, I could, but i doubt that it would have been readable!
The Man says Shannons, or the Australian Four Wheel Drive Association. For the assoc. you need to be a member of a four Wheel Drive club, but they are good, very supportive of the 4wd community.
