Does anyone remember those hammer like tools that people kept in their cars in case of emergencies? They would break a window and cut a seatbelt. Maybe those need to make a comeback.

I would not put just a pair of scissors in the car, but I do have a multi-tool hanging around in a drawer, so I might pop that into the First Aid kit. Need to be careful where we put things in the car, as the girls have a sense for finding the things we don't want them to mess with.
I agree though with how much stuff we would have to carry "Just in Case". Fire season now, which means a lot of things in the car.
