    I really don't like your chances though. We had the same thing happen and i wrote to the appeals board and got a letter saying too bad so sad basically. Even though I don't have so much as a speeding fine against my name. I could have gone further and taken it to court but the court costs would have been added if I lost.

    You can apply to pay of the bare minimum you can afford at the local courts. $15-$20 a week which makes it more bareable..

    If you have a smart phone there is a app you can download to remind you in the future

    Yeah, that's what i thought. just want to check out my options before i give in.

    It doesn't cost you anything to appeal the matter in court. However, if you lose you might get the same fine plus court costs ($30-75ish dollars depending on state).

    You won't find much on the net. The back of the infringement will have all the info. They rely on a paper trail.
