    My magna

    in may of 2009 ( after andy was born) my awesome dad decided to buy me a car ( isnt he great?) but ever since we have had nothign but friggin problems with it....it cost 4,000 and i thinmk we've spent close to that over the last nearly 2 years and more is going wrong....

    im trying to convicne my dad to sell this for what we can.....and buy a better model..

    i have a 95 magna sedan....

    does this sound like a good idea? my dad is considering spending a few grand of a motor....

    Don't you hate that? The car you coulda got with 8 - 10 grand....

    I'd sell.

    Sounds like a lemon. I can see both side, why sell why you've already put so much $$ into but where does it stop? Whats going to go wrong next? Better off wearing the loss and getting something else IMO.

    My in laws have a commodore they are forever spending money on, there is always something wrong with it.

    Straight off I'd say tidy it up, make it look as pretty as you can and sell it. Then put that money and whatever money your dad wanted to put towards a new motor together for another car. I have a 96 magna, and a new motor is not worth "a few grand". Or you could buy another complete car and get the good motor out of that.

    We had a magna and once things started going wrong they just kept on going. Trade it in. Now days there are alot of good small cars that are cheap to run and not that expensive to buy.

    Ours is a 96 Magna, one owner and we've got no problem with ours...

    You wont get anything on Trade In... sorry
