I disagree with that. how can we use less when the cost of living is already though the roof? the farmers have to pay $2p/l how will they keep their farms going? then the cost of living will go up and sadly the world we live in dose not allow the ease of home grown food.
I think that the goverment should be looking into alernate forms of engery. if you want to watch a movie on cars useing alertnat energy look up the movie "who killed the eletric car" and see that its goverment greed thats stalled everything. we need cars, trucks ect. but i think wanting the price of petrol to hit $2 is harsh. i live out of town and if it hit that much - DH would only be working to pay the elect. bill. and we would struggle with any thing beyond that.
