DH wants a Renault. Mainly because of the 0% interest finance.
I'm not so sure.
Has anyone got one? Which model?
How comfortable are the back seats?
How is the performance?
I don't want the SUVish one. I prefer hatches and sedans. The sportier the better.

I used to have a Megane Sedan
I loved it, it was such a good car. Performance great, very comfortable, very smart little car.
Only problem was that when we wanted to sell it we had serious trouble. People don't often think of the renaults when deciding what second hand car to buy. So bear that it mind.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards the Megane hatch so I'll keep that in mind.
Servicing is capped at $149 for 3 years which might make a crap resale value a bit less painful. Or maybe not? My current car is not a brand known for holding its value but it's fun and sporty so I forgive it.

We had a third hand one and DH loved it. It was comfortable and nice to drive but had no power steering.
We were able to trade it in when we had to get rid of it as it was getting just to old .

About 10 years ago I used to have a 1983 silver Renault Fuego. The car was 20 year old, but you really didn't know it and I used to get a lot of attention because of driving it.
My sister also had a Renault 16 and then a red Fuego.
One thing we found was the Renaults used to be way ahead of their time as far as innervation, safety and tech went.
I must admit I haven't kept up with what Renaults are like now (very few mechanics and dealers would have anything to do with them when I was driving it so that's why I had to part with my beauty) but if they are still as reliable and comfortable as they were 30+ years ago I'd say go for it!

Actually yes the resale value on Renaults hasn't ever been very good- pity because most people just don't know what they are missing out on!
