Thanks for that CK. do you have the hatch or sedan? I like the hatch better but the boot doesn't look to big. My old 323 has a huge boot for such a little car! Yeah we've scrapped the Peugeot idea after I discovered it would cost 1500 to insure eek!
I have the hatch and I can say there is plenty of space in the boot, even with the parcel shelf on. Haven't tried fitting a pram in there yet mind you (soon!) but I have managed 3 huge suitcases.
If you take the shelf off (it just unclips and lifts out) you have more room for stuff that pokes up a bit, and if you lay the backseats down the space is massive. We moved house last year and I somehow managed to fit an entire large moving box in there plus fill up extra space around it with a bunch of other stuff.
When I bought mine (Maxx) I also test drove the SP23 which is the sports model - soooooo wanted it because it was awesome, but was a little more than I could afford at the time. Mine I got ex-demo for $25800 with only 1500km on the clock. Definitely good value for money.
