Our entitlement for the CCB has always been zero... This is what I originally put down when I filled out all the paperwork (online) 18 months ago when DS started CC. I'm pretty sure I also had to enter this as our estimate when I updated our details so that we could have the CCR paid directly to the centre about 6 months ago.

Now, I know for the 2010/11 fin year this was correct and we weren't entitled to the CCB.

But, there is a chance that this fin year (2011/12) we may squeeze in, and it is very likely that we will for the next fin year (2012/13).

If we do come in under the cap this year, will I need to do anything to claim it? Or, will the FAO sort it out when we submit our tax returns?

What about for the following year? DH's income isn't fixed, so I think I would still estimate that our entitlement would be zero, and then wait till the end of the year to find out.

Do you need to reapply each year for the CCB in order to keep getting the CCR?

Sorry, the info on their website isn't very specific... And I know we have a very wise woman in here who is an expert in these things I'm hoping she might stumble across this thread
