    The percentage is the discount you get off the hourly rate set by the government.

    However most child care centres charge above this set rate.

    For example if the set rate is $5/hour but centre charges $6/hour and your percentage is 50%, then you will get charged $3.50/hour not $2.50/hour.

    Does that make sense?

    yeah so cause ur percentage is actually more it means u will pay less then the $36
