Well the thing is we're not really struggling, I can pay all my bills and be left with about $500 a fortnight for living expences so it is do-able but it's very tight. But I just don't see why he should be living it easy while i'm limiting myself to one tank of fel a week and stressing over not having any money for Xmas pressies

Just quickly, as DH is busy, he said yes, there is a way of getting them to pay more than the cap, with the new scheme. He will come in here later and tell you how to apply.

I'd get straight onto the spousal support. CS or not it doesn't seem right that it's all of a sudden ok for you to drop your lifestyle 300k a year is a lot NOT to share with your family together or not.

Why don't you tell him you will have to find a house in the WORST suburb you can think of, surely he couldn't let that happen??

I am going to be able to borrow some money at beginning of Nov so I'm going to see a solicitor then.

Yael, did you find out any info from your hubby about getting more than the cap?

Thanks guys, was in Coles today and my card got declined - so embarrassing

CQ - the law firm I work for does legal aid claims. So if you are still looking for a firm, I'm sure we would take your case on. You just have to apply for legal aid first.

(Oh and we are on the sunshine coast too of course... but.. we're a nice friendly firm!!)
