    It is per week hun, but it doesn't actually equate to $26 per day off. You don't get charged per hour for day care, you get charged per day, so they pay an amount which equates to $2.60 per hour for a "standard" day or something like that. It is really complicated and never works out to what you expect. When you ring a centre, tell them the percentage that you are entitled to and they can tell you what the cost is after the CCB.

    Childcare centres charge per daily basis but family daycare only charge per hour booked. So if you only book 6 hours a daywith family daycare then you only get charged 6hours where with a centre you get charged the entire day no matter what.

    Sorry that will probably confuse you more...
