ccb is a sliding scale based on your income estimate - so for 55k, you'll get more ccb than someone on 60k - exactly the same as FTBA. the only thing that varies is whether you work or not - if both you and your partner work study or train for at least 15 hours per week, you get up to 50hours of ccb each week, if one of you doesn't, it's a maximum of 24 hours

the 30%/50% thing is for when both parents meet the work study training test. up until the end of the 07/08 financial year, you got 30% of your out of pocket costs rebated if you both met it (so th amount you pay on top of ccb), it's now gone up to 50%

I'm still waiting on mine too. Was told that if payment is not processed by the 13th of January there is an automatic push on payment triggered. Where they just estimate and pay it out.

So fingers crossed no one has to wait till that point, for all those who are still waiting.

You and your partner both need to meet the work/study rule PP.

LOL MrsMac, I never thought of that. I'll bet people would pay me to keep my clothes on too.
