New Job - New Wage but with Deductions

So I've gotta call into centre link to declare our family income however I'm a little confused, do I give them his wages before his deductions or after...

He get's a living away from home allowance (taken from his wages before it's taxed), has to pay agency fee's to the company that invoice on his behalf, his super gets taken out of his wages before tax, and he may be doing the salary sacrifice for a leased car as he needs to be able to get around down in Canberra for his job.

Do I tell them the whole amount or just what he gets taxed on?

Just want to make sure I work it all out before I go in if I have to remove some of the things or all of them.

Ummm, I'm no expert but I would say the whole pay including the deductions.

So if he gets 100pay, but then 20 gets taken out, and he only gets taxed on the 80, you still have to claim that 100 because that's what he earns.

    Love MN ;-)

It depends, are they asking for taxable income, or total salary package?

I believe it is taxable income... I guess that's what I'm going to have to ask... might ring in before I go down to the office cause I'll need DH to confirm the answer with the company as it's only a 6 month contract which make it harder ARGH! Oh well... nothing I can do about it
