That form is a NIGHTMARE to complete. And then they ask irrelevant questions such as 'Do you own your own home'? Just data gathering for the Govt! I wondered if they wanted my dental records too. Anyway, was just going to ask whether you did the online test to determine which was better- the paid leave or the baby bonus? I thought it was a no-brainer at first, however, we're not that much better off by taking the paid leave, over the baby bonus, once tax is taken out and my paid leave crosses two financial years etc and bumped up my income, blah,blah,blah. If I'd known how painful the paperwork was beforehand, I probably would have opted to apply for the baby bonus.
