Basically all you have to do is estimate how much money you and your partner will be earning between now and July. So that includes your parenting payment, family tax benfit and any wages that he may earn. I recommend over-estimating a bit so your not owing anything at the end of financial year.
Chamberry, are you sure its not next fin year.....1 july 2010 - 30 June 2011 they might be asking ???i got the same letter asking for next fin year forecast.....i could be wrong....but my centrelink letter is seeking income details for next fin year.....
Its your estimated *taxable* income. Which is different to the income you have to declare for them so they can reduce your payments (I am a landlord and the amount I can claim as expenses vs rent is massively different for tax and centrelink). I categorically hate their system.
