Second child Centrelink payments

So we are thinking of TTC soon and I just had a quick question...

Was talking to the neighbour yesterday who is 5 weeks PG with #3 and she mentioned that the payments for 2 children makes life alot easier....

What have you experienced??? Just wanting to know whether TTC is feisable for us?????

When you have another baby, any parenting payment you get won't change, but your FTB goes up. I think any rent assistance stays the same. Not much else changed from what I can remember. So it all depends on your own situation, really. How much you & your partner earn.

our went up a whopping $46 so its not much!

it's really dependant on income. it doesn't make a great deal of difference - the MOST ftb goes up is about 150 a fortnight...

depends on what your receiving we only get ftb b so no change for us except the maternity payment thing

Thanks girls definitely some food for thought, although $150 isn't much, I guess it will help when I was thinking everything stayed the same...

My FTB went up from $50 to around $150 a fortnight plus BB for 6 months
