No, they wont help unless you are classed as "looking for work" rather than being a parent (iykwim). Ive rang and asked and it would involve changing my "situation" all together.. looking for work, going to appointments etc.
and this still only applies if there is funding available through a job network member (and only if they have available funding - which will almost always be directed to a low income person on income support as there is little to no government funding for them to help those not on income support)
