3/4 of it is going into our holiday savings fund for next year and the rest is going on everyting for Xmas.. presents, fuel for travelling, food ect..
Will make this xmas just that little bit easier without having to worry (too much) about what we spend.. We can sit back and enjoy the holidays without the worry of bills to pay..
It was going to be a new bed for DD, but for now it will cover the last moolah we owe my midwife - and then when we get the rebate from our health fund the little one will get her new bed.
We also have rego etc due by 20th December, great time of year for that huh??!!![]()
rego tip.. We used to have it due in january so we opted to pay it for 6 mnths which took us to August then we went back to yearly..
ours will go to a maxirider for DD, chest of drawers for bubs and some towards our doula.
ALLLLLLLLL of our savings are frozen in the credit crisis so have to spend wisely!
We won't be getting it.
TBH ours would have gone straight on our mortgage.
We dont get it either bummerBut would have probably put it off our mortgage or maybe into DS savings?
thats the right thing to do as DH would have said but i would have spent it on a christmas party with my friends![]()
Mines going towards a big boy bed for my son and picking up his booster seat. the rest on bills.
Ours is going to a new hot water system thingo.
The rest will be put in our savings or something like that.
As we are getting a fair bit due to being on a career's allowance...most of its going in the bank for future medical costs.
We are splurging though....we're going to buy a new window for Vyolett's bedroom cause her old one is unsafe oh and dame rego and rate!
