if, IF, i get it, and i'm not sure if we really are eligible, it will go on two new fron wheel bearings and registering my car so i can continue to give DD driving lessons and run her and her friends about.
Ours will be stocking up on nappies, wipes, formula, xmaz pressies and odds and ends for the kids, and the rest into savings accounts.
Quarter goes to a payment on my braces and another quarter will pay for my flights to Bali
The rest will be used for topping up what we lose when DF's work goes quiet
Has anyone actually had it paid into their account yet? Or does it go in tonight?
Well since I don't have to stock up on nappies or formula I am getting a bigger fridge, I am getting a few extra Chrissy presents for the kids and I am also getting MYSELF some clothes![]()
It goes in when your next payment is due..
for example my next FTB payment is due Friday so i assume it will be in the bank then,,
it isn't showing up on the centrelink website yet but I was told or read it will show up 2 days prior to it going in..
another thing i read was if you were due to be paid FTB today then expect it in the bank by wednesday..
We just bought a maxirider AHR so that part will go towards the credit card.
And then I'll be having me a dishwasher once we're back in our house!!
I'm getting the car serviced and paying for my Cert 4 - f there's anything left then thats going on pressies - a trip to crazy clarks for us I think![]()
Who cares if the idea is to spend it and put it back into the economy? Why not let them go and blow it on a new handbag?? You can't tell me these people don't know how to spend money. Why on earth should my taxes subsidise paying a bonus to the likes of the Packers or Hewitts?
I could say the same that I don't want my tax dollars to fund Kel84's trip to Bali! (sorry Kel.. had to pick one) Or I don't want my tax dollars paying for someone's alcohol for a month!
And actually it is discrimination. Against those who don't have children, and those that earn more than others.
discrimination: to make a distinction in favor of or against a person or thing on the basis of the group, class, or category to which the person or thing belongs rather than according to actual merit; show partiality
