Will my CCR be mucked around?? (not to do with new budget)
My ds is in daycare 3 days a week and i am recieving carers payments for him inwhich he is entitled to 50 hours a week at 100%.
i recieved a letter saying my CCB was cancelled due to my sons immunisation not being up to date, in which it was, medicare was kind enough to chase up the details, and then centrelink reinstalled it.
I pay alot of fee's due to the childcare he attends, and i actually look forward to getting the rebate as that pays for alot of his specialists and other therapies and to put towards bills etc.
But now im worried that it being suspended and then set back up again it will effect me getting the rebate itms?
Has anyone ever had this happen?
And if BG is here would you be able to help answer this?
TIA xox
No - parents who opt for no ccb still get ccr. You will actually get more based on the full price you were paying for a period of time. CCR isn't calculated till the end of the quarter either, so you shouldn't have any worries. Also you have a 28 day 'grace period' for any calculation and reinstatement - so you are able to back date 28 days from when the CCB is reinstated to you.
*Sorry, that should say any cancellation and reinstatement
it's going to depend on when the cancellation happened. if it happened at the end of last quarter, the few days may not be paid until tax time but given CCR only started being processed today, provided the usae statements are in from the child care, it should be fine
