Am I looking for a dip or a third level of temps?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows why a triphasic chart often indicates pregnancy?

Is it because the amount of Progresterone producted after Ov increases even more if implantation occurs, and then temps go up even further than the post Ov rise?

My chart is displaying a clear rise after O (steady at 36.9 at the moment - see below), so am I now on the lookout for either a dip around 7DPO, or a further sustained rise in temps?

Triphasic charts can indicate pregnancy, but not always. A consistant raised temp beyond AF's due date will most times indicate pregnancy.

I think that you'd be better off with a thermometer that has two decimal points. It will make your chart more accurate and easier to read.
