    Question Beginner's Help???

I've decided if af shows up this month, Im going to start charting. So I just have afew questions to get me started (sorry if they are silly)
Because there is a fair chance I have ovulated already, should I just start charting once af shows up?
Do I have to use a BB thermometer, or will just my normal one do the job (orally)??
Do I just take my temp each morning when I get up....and will my electric blanket give me wrong readings??
Ive signed up to Fertility Friend, so Im all set to enter data, once I figure out what data I need
Umm i think thats all my questions for now......thanks for bearing with me

    Hi Helen!!

Good luck with TTC and charting!!

Yes you should start your charting cycle the day AF arrives That is Cycle Day One...then you keep counting till AF comes again and that is the end of that cycle and the begining of the next cycle- so you start to see how long your cycle is.

Yes a normal oral therm is fine and you do it first thing in the mroning before you get up- i'm not sure about the electric blankie.... hmmm might make a slight difference in your twmp- but as long as its on everynight its consistant so you should still pick up a drop in temp....

I think thats all you asked!! Good luck!!!

You can start charting right away if you like. It will give you some practice taking your temps
