Hi ellie

I can sometimes see EWCM on and off for up to a week before O. The general rule is that O day would be the LAST day that you see it. Generally it disappears very quickly after ovulation, usually within 12-24 hours. It is possible that what you saw after your estimated O day was semen, there is a way to test but a bit gross....drop some in a glass of water. EWCM will form a ball, semen won't. Mightn't hurt to try that to help learn the difference. So there you go As monnie said it is a secondary sign and it's much more accurate when taken in conjunction with temps.

Looking at your temps - for me those temps would be pre-ovulation. Mine are usually low 36's before O and high 36's/low 37's after. I'm thinking that considering your temps and the fact that your still seeing some EW you may not have O'd yet. But since it's your first month charting it's a bit hard to say because you don't yet know what range of temps is normal for you. I guess all I can say is hang in there because after a few months charting you will see patterns emerging and things will get much much easier.

As far as the BD'ing goes, keep doing it right up until you see your temps rise, AND the EWCM has gone.

Definitely sign up at Fertility friend, it's great charting software that is really helpful when you're learning.
Good luck and hope to see that bfp soon!
