I'm told my chart isn't loading properly and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I'm going to try to explain what is happening in words:
My temp jumped up to 97.9 from 96.9 two days ago. I'm pretty sure I ovulated because I'm on Clomid and I had a positive OPK the day before. Yesterday my temp stayed at 97.9 but today it fell down to 97.8! I'm worried I'm not producing enough Progesterone to sustain a high temp.
What do you think?
Notably, My temp was also at 97.9 on the 5th and 6th day BEFORE ovulation, so my ovulatory rise wasn't higher than my past 6 temps....
When I was TTC my temp dipped around ovulation so to me that sounds really good. I could not go off a rise being higher than past temps while charting.
Has your tracker site confirmed ovulation and given you a coverline?
If so then i wouldn't worry too much about it. Anything from a mild infection to a restless night can cause that sort of temp change. WHen i charted (NFP) i can remember waking with the mildest of aches in my throat which lasted for the first 3 times i swallowed and then vanished - the sort of thing you'd expect meant you'd been breathing through your mouth and dried your throat out too much, and my temp was up by 0.3 for 2 days yet i hadn't O'd. I had no other O signs, just the temp rise. Did you have EWCM around the time you got the +ve OPK? If so, then i'd relax and wait to see if you caught your eggie. Temp charting can be a great way to check various things about your cycle when you're trying to figure it all out but nothing is 100% on all the time, kwim?
Some women never see EWCM and yet they concieve.
Some women never get a true +ve on an OPK and yet they concieve.
Some women's charts always look crazy, anovulatory, multiovulatory, chaotic, and yet they concieve.
Some unlucky women look great on paper and everything seems to work fine and yet it doesn't happen for them.
I'd take the +ve OPK as a great sign. Don't fret too much about the chart - keep temping and maybe it'll start to make sense, and if not hopefully you'll never get to practice because by next month you'll have had your BFP.
