I got a positive OPK (YEAH!, so excited!)

Hi all,
I just wanted to share with you all the wonderful news. I just got my first positive OPK! I have been testing all week and started thinking it was never going to happen, but it just did. I got the 2 dark lines.
You know MB hasn't been all that great this month. I have been getting ferning ever since AF came, so luckily I decided to do the OPK as well. I don't even feel mid cycle pain yet, in fact I feel great, so I am very pleased I did the testing. So does that mean that I will be ovulating anytime within the next 2 days? Should I continue testing? If I do continue testing, will that tell me when I have finished ovulating? When does the TWW officially start?

Congrats on getting a positive OPK. Can't help you out much there as I never used them. MB didn't work very well for me as I found I got ferning at other times as well as when I O'd. The TWW starts after you O. I could only determine when I O'd by temping as I'd see the temp rise.

Puppies, that first positive OPK is exciting! I'd do another one today just to see whether the second line is paler and then you'll know that you've ovulated. I used to track mine by lining them up next to each other. Good luck catching the eggie!! And hope you get to see that soon!

Hey puppies. I just saw in another post you were saying you got another positive opk 3 days later??
Just remember positive is if the line is as dark or darker than the control line. If there's a line but it's still lighter that's considered negative.
Hope that helps you work out which day O was!
