I'm only 7DPO, so I know it's way too early to tell, but what do you think of my cycle? I don't know much about implantation dips and can't find information much on what they look like. I heard they're usually 7-10DPO, but that they can happen as early as 4. How big is the dip usually? Does it dip below the cover line? It's not so much the dip that has me excited, but the high temps after it - I've never had temps this much higher than my O temp, even when I was on accupuncture (altho' was living in the states at the time, so temps were in F, and the conversion isn't clear).
On 2-5DPO I had "ovulatory" cramps, which probably weren't, but that's how I desribed them, only more intense. NEVER had that before. Am having amazing heartburn and haven't changed my diet, and some minor breast sensitivity.
Do you think we could be heading towards a BFP this cycle? I'm trying not to get too excited, but I feel like this is the closest we've been (TTC#1). Would LOVE some feedback!!!
Ive never seen this kind of chart before, only a FF one, so I hope I can read it ok. So far your chart is looking good. As you said its a little too early to be able to determine if you are pg but here is my personal opinion (definitely not professional)
Yep implantation usually occurs between 7 - 10 DPO and its usually a nice noticable but not huge temp dip and Ive never seen them to go below the cover line. You have a nice wee dip at 5 DPO but again its still too early at this stage to tell if its implantation.
If your temps are high towards the end of your LP i.e. at 9 - 14DPO then you will have a greater chance of being able to see.
I have had two pregnancies which had implantation dips in them so I will comment based on my experience.
My temp dips were more pronounced than what yours is and the temp stayed down for 3 days with the first one and 2 days for the second one and neither of them dipped before 6DPO. When the temps raised they raised significantly (again moreso than yours has) and kept climbing slightly each day.
Based on how my dips looked I would say I'm not looking at implantation dips. Of course I could be wrong. Best of luck, I hope I'm wrong.
It doesn't look like an implantation dip to me either, but remember, you don't necessarily need to see a temp dip to be pregnant... Most often the temp dip will be at least 0.3oC, and most commonly occurs for one day only. That said, every woman is different, and charts can vary greatly!
Your chart looks really good though - nice steady rise of temp in the luteal phase, definitely a fertile cycle and a great chance of pregnancy. Best of luck to you
I tested Sat (DPO 12) and got BFN, so thought then that my chance this cycle was over. My temp dipped slightly, but apprently it was still considered triphasic. My temp dropped below cover line on DPO 13, which confirmed to me that AF was around the corner, but when my temp shot back up to 36.6 again on DPO 14, DH got anxious and made me test. He wasn't well that night and had high temps when he went to bed and when he woke up, so I was sure that's what had sent my temps soaring, but he wanted to test anyway - so I made him look at the BFN and only tell me if it was BFP. Guess what - it was BFN. Today is DPO 16 and my temp has dropped to slightly below cover line again (DH is better now), and I am starting to spot. Means a night of red wine and dessert for me!!! My temp dropped much earlier than AF's arrival this month, but I did have a shorter fertile phase than usual too - it was a different cycle all around this month.
Seeing a FS on Fri, so hopefully we're on the right track for the BFP soon!!
