Are you using an ovulation thermometer? When I was charting I don't think I could have made any sense of any of it without the thermometer. You need to get a particular one for ovulation. You take your temp every day as soon as you wake up and record the temp on your chart. When you ovulate your temp will rise. By the time you notice your temp rise you have already ovulated. Keep taking your temp even after ovulation as if it continues to stay high for the next 2 weeks there is a good chance you might be pregnant.
With regards to CM I found that right before I ovulated I have definate egg-white mucus. Not everyboby does and this is the tricky part about charting, there are just so many factors. Good luck to you.
