How many times are you testing a day? What time? I always found i got +opks around 7-8pm of an evening...rather than 2pm in the arvo. Its a small window of oppourtunity that these OPKs will give us....its a matter of catching the +opks in the right 24-48hr time frame - KWIM????
I'm another one who never had much luck with OPKs either. Mine would never get as dark as the control line, even when I was having tracking with BT's and knew full well that my LH was surging But what I did find was that it helped to compare the darkness of the lines from day to day - I would usually get an OPK on one day that was darker than the rest (but still not as dark as the control), and that coincided with a temp rise the next day confirming that O had occurred.
Thanks ladies - I actually got lucky today, I did 2 OPK's because I thought I stuffed the 1st one up and both of them the test line was the same shade if not a tiny bit darker than the control, so it seems to match up with my previous O timeframes - although still have no idea what my temps are doing, neither does FF it seems!!
