    Right, I'm starting a chart

I've been TTC for 6 months and am now on CD1 of my 7th month. I told my DH that if I wasn't pregnant this month that I was going to buy a BBT thermometer (check, got that today) and start charting. So tomorrow morning will be my first mark on the chart. Wish me luck.

    Good luck Danni!

I found charting to be so helpful...especially on-line charting with Fertility Friend...tried charting on paper, but just couldn't get my act together enough!

I will have paper charts by my bed so I can do it first thing. I don't have time to switch on the computer before I leave for work. Then when I have time I'll put it all onto an excel spreadsheet.

Good luck Dan! Maybe it'll only take one chart for you

Dan - yayyyy for you, I use an excel spreadsheet as well. That way I can record all the other things like BD, CM, Time taken, and have room for any notes which may have affected temps on the day.
I hope this means BFP in Magical mystery tour March for you.

Good luck Danni! I usually scribble down my temp whilst I'm half asleep in the morning, then I put it in the computer when I can. Fertility Friend makes it pretty, as well as helps you to read it.

    Have fun!

I don't think I'll be using fertility friend coz I've noticed the temps on those charts are fereignheight (sp) and my thermometer is in Celsius and that's how I want to record coz I understand that.

You can select it to be in Celsius Do they still have free membership for 3 months? or 1 month? or something? Might be worth having a look.

Dan, when you set it up there's a tab on the left hand side saying "settings" then go to charting options. You can set it to celcius there

And there is still free full membership of FF for 1 month, then you go back to the basic membership, but this is still enough to get by on.
I just check my therm as I am running out the door to work, and I record it on FF as soon as I get in.
Good luck with your chart, whatever method you use to record it, and heres hoping you get a BFP soon!!!

Question: I can't take my temperature before getting out of bed as recommended because it is not light when I get up and DH is still asleep. As long as I'm consistant each day, is it ok to get up, go straight into the next room and sit for a couple of mins while taking my temp?

My therm saves the last temp, and then I can check it later.
It was sub $20, and I got it mail order and in the post from LC...
    Good luck with your chart!

I'm bored with my temps so far. I'm at CD 5 and they've been 36.5, 36.3, 36.3, 36.5, 36.5 but the 36.5 temps were taken later than the 36.3 temps coz they were either on weekend or in the evening on my very first day.
