I have had thyroid cancer and I have just had the all clear to start concieving number 2, I have herd about 50% of woman have trouble concieving after radioactive iodine treatment (treatment other than surgery for my cancer).

I am really hoping that someone who has had thyroid cancer will read this and tell me their story, was it hard to get pregnant? did it take long? did you end up needing ivf?

I feel guilty writing here because I have already been blessed once with a beautiful baby boy who is now 21 months old. But when I was told that it could be hard to conceive, my desire for another baby is so great and I am scared I will have trouble.

I have no advice honey, I'm sorry to hear about the cancer, but yay on being given the go ahead for TTC! I hope it doesn't take long for you and you see a a big flashing BFP very soon. Goodluck hon!
