Maybe your LC needs new batteries??. I found for me that before O i had consistant temps and post O they fluctuated much more :shrug:
In the end as long as you can clearly tell your ovulation pattern i think it wouldnt really matter although i agree with Sam by saying that the ovulation ones are more sensitive for a reason.
