Does it matter if you take your BBT at diferent times?

yeah it does matter... its best to take it at the same time every morning before you get up or move around to much... It will be much more reliable that way

You really have an hours leeway, so if you usually take your temp at 7.30am you can get away with doing it anywhere between 7am & 8am without too much discrepency. If you do it outside that hour you may get a bit of variance. And as Nikki said, you need to take it before you move much & before you speak, so you pretty much wake up & tick the thermometer in your mouth before doing a thing.

hi mumstheword, as long as you've had 4 hrs consecetive (sp?) sleep, then your temp reading will be a reflection of your basal body temp.

When I was working two days a week I was generally getting up at 7am for five days and 5am for two consecutive days & I never really had much of a difference. The main thing as Justin has said was the amount of sleep prior to taking the temp, if I had been up & down with DS then it was more likely to be an odd temp as compared to if I got up earlier. Does that make sense?!
