When do they start?

I sent back the enrolment for DS not long before the due date, and I assume they got the paperwork. However, i haven't heard anything from the kinder regarding what date the kinder starts (so I'm worried it's tomorroe), and also worried if he really did get into that group that they told me he was in (last year) (so I'm also worried that he's been downgraded onto the wait list).

If he starts this week, s sessions are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, starting at 8.30am. So if I was to call them tomorrow morning and they do start, there is no way i could get him there before 9am even if I left as soon as i would hang up the phone. Do I get him ready and drive in to town, just in case? I have no idea what to do, even as far as does he take snacks/lunch/WHAT?????

We are currently in the middle of moving house, so its not really easy at the moment.

Chances are they wont be having the kids till Thursday or Friday. Whilst there is the official term start date, that date is more for the teachers to get ready.
Is there another family going that you could call? Maybe they got the paperwork?

We start on Monday the 4th, so not til next week. ANd only one hour for the first couple of days.

regardless of when they start you should have been notified as to start dates etc....
did your kinder have an AGM?? at our you had to pick up all your information then, if you didnt attend you had to go pick it up, there is lots of paperwork to fill in, so even if he was to start tomorrow he couildnt unless you fill out taht paperwork.

If you haven't heard by now and gotten some sort of confirmation, I'd be calling them first thing tomorrow and finding out if he even has a place! I'd be writing tomorrow off at this stage, find out exactly what days he will be going and then start on the next day he's supposed to go. If he was supposed to be there tomorrow then it won't matter to miss a day. It will be easier than getting him all keyed up about going only to find out he's not.

I have an interview this week but DS doesn't start til Monday! Try not to stress!

I thought you should have heard something? We had info night/ AGM end last year to get all the info start dates, times, whatever else we need to know.

We had an info session last year and sn orientatiom time for kids to go fir 1 hr.
We have interview this wed but he doesn't start till next wed (sessions are mon - thurs either 0815 - 1200 or 1245 - 1600 rotating between 2 groups)
