Howdy doo...

DS attends day care twice a week.

When I was working (and he was at a different day care) I called during my lunch hour to check up on how he was doing, how his day was going etc... and the girls at that day care (one in particular) would always have a chat to me, ask how I was doing, we'd just natter on for a few minutes...

So now we have taken him out of that day care and put him in a better one.

However, when I called them in the middle of the day - they seemed a little distracted and getting information out of them was like pulling teeth!!!!!!

So I stopped calling to check how he was going. Figured if there was a problem they would call me.

So now I'm worried that since I don't call anymore - will they think I'm a complete crap mum who doesn't give a crap about her kid? Cos sometimes DD is so unsettled that I can't even make a phone call - mainly cos I hate trying to talk on the phone when a kid is screaming!!!!

So I'm wondering...

Do you call ... or not call???
