I think some beanies and scarves now may be a good idea if you work with toddlers. Would be hard those first couple of mornings if they don't want to leave their parents to go to you because they're a bit shocked. Toddlers are like cats- no change please! But then they get over it quickly and I think it's nice to be able to share that experience with them.

With regards to the religious aspect, I would find that nice to hear as it's always good to hear about people's cultures and perspectives of the world. But as an atheist I'd be a bit irked if it was harped on and on about to my toddler. Which I'm sure you wouldn't do, just saying
