    Is Kindergarten compulsury (in SA)

DD is almost 3 and has gone to daycare full-time since the age of 4 months old. I'm now wondering if it's law that we have to enrol her into kindergarten or if she can skip that and keep only going to daycare until she starts school?

Not compulsory, but they tend to make the transition better if they've done kindy.

There are some CC centres that walk the big kids to kindy, and you generally have a choice about whether your child does 4 half day sessions or 2 full day sessions, or a combination of the two, so ask lots of questions because you might be able to find an arrangement that works.
