LO starting 3yr old pre-school next year - help with drink bottles etc

    Hi

My LO is starting 3yr old pre-school next year and I was starting to panic about what she should take in terms of a lunchbox and drink bottle. Any recommendations? I was thinking maybe a pop-top water bottle that doesn't leak? What have you found that works really well?

    TIA!

We just used pop-top style water bottles mainly so they don't lose the lids! All I used was an insulated lunch bag, with a tuppware sandwich keeper and an ice brick to keep it all cool.

Poptops are great, means that there is no trouble with lids that havent been screwed on wonky and leaked through the bag and car

DD takes the Cheeki stainless steel bottles. The kids ones have a really easy twist top and you could practice beforehand if needed.

She just has one of the insulated lunchboxes that I put a cold brick into. I'm not sure why the brick has to be there as the whole thing goes into the fridge when she gets there, but apparently she thinks it's important.....

We have one of the thermos bottles that have a straw. We have found it to be really good. Easy to clean and stainless steel with a silicon straw. The lid clasps onto the straw and so it doesn't leak. Easy to open as well with a button. I liked DS's so much I bought an adult one of me. I think they were called Foogo or similar. HTH.
